When your local council singles you out for a special edition of Hampshire Now which is aimed at older people who might be cold or lonely or need help with their bills, it wouldn't be so bad if I wasn't employed by HCC!

I knew I was getting old when my kids' teachers look like kids themselves

Also, when I have to get the kids (even my 7 year old) to help me out on the computer sometimes, when I'm totally clueless

My daughter once asked my mother if she'd ever met a dinosaur - to which she replied "I am one!".

I know I'm getting old, when I bend down to tie my shoe laces and think 'What else can I do now I'm down here? '
