I didn't imply that YOU were an uncaring owner. Stop being so touchy.

Errr.......you're not being touchy again, are you?

Sorry, couldn't resist

Seriously though, surely the charge that the hotel makes for taking a dog is for the room to be suitably cleaned afterwards. After all, they are not supplying a bed/breakfast or anything else for the dog, are they?

If they allow dogs, they must expect hair! Simple as!

Think I'll book in with my eight Chis I'd like to see the Managers face as I walked them in

Sorry if you are offended
No question mark.

The 'sorry?'was in response to your comment regarding Cesky Terriers - I just couldn't see the relevance of that remark.

I'll say it again, loud and clear, I'm SORRY if I offended anyone specifically - although I stand by my statement that SOME dog people leave hotel rooms in such a state that they make it difficult for the rest of us.

Unfortunately You are right Cesky about how some doggy people leave hotel rooms in such a state, that it does make it hard for other dog owners to be accepted, just like some doggy people who should know better do not clean up after their dogs at show venues, but fortunately we are not all the same as we do not want to lose venues or hotels. I always make sure that I leave the room clean and pick up after my dogs at any venue I attend.

As I said in my earlier post Hotels/Motels are taking a more stringent view and even if you leave the room as you found it the increase in price has come about really because they do not want dogs there in the first place.
