How sad, but no surprise of GB today, as has been said, the over commercialisation of sex, songs, celebs, tv, radio, adverts, clothing, it's all about sex when you think about it, can't blame the kids anymore. There must be something wrong that makes a 12 year old want to have sex.

If the parents are morons most of the time it follows that the kids will be too, its bad parenting. I'm not perfect who is but Eastenders gets turned in my house if the kids are around !

Totally agree!
I was in GAME last year and one of the sales assistants was chatting to friend and he was asking how his little girl was. His reply 'Oh, she's great, she's just had her 2nd birthday. She a right cheeky little thing, the other day she said she wanted to be a poledancer when she grew up!' *jaw drops*
At 2! How the hell would she know what one is???

I can remember too when I used to take Charlie to his junior school discos. There were always two types of girls at that age.....10.
Those that wore party dresses or nice outfits..... and those that wore clothes that, to be honest, make them look like tarts.

This young lad, who is only 4ft tall and now a Dad. Such a shame. What has happened in society to make this happen?

It is very scary how young children "grow up" these days..

I thank god CJ loves her jeans and wellies..and has no interest in short skirts etc..

I too work with kids and have had a few that we have had to have words with over clothing etc..

My son has just turned 13 and to be honest..I don't think he would know what to do with it..and the way he thinks of girls (at the moment) he woudln't want to either!!

It just goes to show how things/times can change in such a short space of time.

I'm 24 and 12 years ago when i was that age sex was the last thing that would be on our minds. We'd be more interested in sleepovers at friends house, playing in the park etc etc.

When I started secondary school my mum told me that if I ever came home pregnant or took drugs I'd have to find somewhere else to live. In hindsight I know she wouldn't have kicked me out but at that age I wasn't prepared to take the risk!!

The trouble with SOME kids these days is a complete lack of respect and parents not teaching morals correctly. We as a country are becoming lazy and things will have to change or it will only get worse.

Aside from society's hand in these matters, a lot of parents IMO are making their kids grow up too fast these days too. I still kiss Myles in the playground before school like an embarrassing mum (he's 6) but there's a fair few mums who I have NEVER seen show that kind of emotion toward their children, even in nursery, not even holding their hand across the road e.t.c. I can think of about half the class, especially the boys, whom I have never seen being hugged or carried or holding hands with their parents (maybe they do at home, i'm not saying they never do but there are of course the other half of us who's children run out of the school at home time into our arms and happy to see us). There are a lot of parents like that today, I honestly don't know why they have children, perhaps to get the extra social security cheque.

Well, I wasn't going to say anything but I can't keep quiet about it because I'm absolutely disgusted by the whole story. Number one, why are the parents 'supporting' the decision to have the baby? Speaks volumes about the kind of families these are if they condone him sleeping over at her house in the first place. There are other options to be had. Why does every youngster that gets pregnant in this country feel they have to keep the child. I'm sorry but council house and child benefits spring to mind! Ho much did they get for the story in the paper as well?
Before anyone strings me up, I am only voicing my opinion and not having a go at everyone on benefits, I've been there myself.

I ALSO find it abhorrent, but it directly shows what exactly is wrong with this country., That girl has clearly seen that its fine to live on benefits as both her parents do, and has then got pregnant and the parents solution to that little problem is to sell it to a rank newspaper to make some money, rather than be absolutely flaming mortified that their daughter is pregnant at 14 to a 12 yr old....who looks 8, and is still a child himself.

I find the fact that the mother of the 12 yr old boy who still allows him to spend the night at his "girlfriends" house is clearly useless and obviously has no respect for her child, she obviously doesnt therefore do homework etc with him if he is staying away from home.

Seriously some people shouldnt be allowed to be parents or procreate.

We dont need dog licences we need baby licences.

disgusting state of affairs really.

In my opinion it also shows how little these parents think of their children....if they truely loved them they would encourage them to terminate the pregnancy and better their lives rather than ruin it before they have even begun!
