i jsut got a quote from budget and its for 35k contents, accidental damge, 2k personal possesion away from home, 100 pouund excess.

and is 90 pounds for annual premium

i pay £56 per month for building and contents.I've looked around but they wont touch us as the house suffered subsidence in 1985.it has a seperate cover with uk coal, as its a mining area.
insurance companies see us as plagued even tho the house has never moved since.
any ideas?
