I get the feeling we may have that issue with Casper anyway She won't be along to this walk as she gets her last vacc the day before and I think it's a week before she can meet strange doggies anyway, but handy to know for future walks (yes, I'm hopeful enough that things will go well and you guys won't be too scared to walk with me and the dogs a second time ).
OH has offered to come along so may bring Casper along, one of us can wander off with him if he's too reactive but I think he should be OK.
Btw, being too lazy to PM you but my dog food order should be arriving this afternoon so will let you know what bones I've got spare and arrange pickup with Mother*ship soon.

Btw I plan to bring my camera along on the walk so if anyone's camera shy and would rather not have their photos posted up, just let me know and I'll make sure I crop/leave out any photos you're in, I know I'll be hiding from any cameras

I'll be bringing along Cain the Pain, who is doing really well with his socialising but unfortunately still thinks it's good play manners to flattern everything in his path. Karly, prob better keep your mums pup away from him and he's so big and does scare young dog when he paw splats. We can always skip the end part of the walk, or Cain would be on lead anyway so easy to keep them apart.

My mum is coming along too so she'll be an extra pair of hands if anyone needs it. I can't wait. Cain has had some excellent (albeit rough) dog play interactions over the last few days so I'm hoping he will behave himself!!!

Just for any newcomers to the thread, we're having our first walk on 14th August at Boxhill. Anyone is welcome but please be aware of your dog's behaviour around other dogs and take the necessary precautions, e.g. muzzles or leads.
Does anyone have a preference for starting time? Know we suggested early incase of warm weather, when's good for those arriving by train/driving a longish distance?

Earlier will probably be better for me, in terms of getting home before the worst of the heat. Maybe aim for an 8.30-8.45 meetup (to allow for minor train/traffic delays and getting from the station)? Then by the time the dogs have settled and we've all said hello, it'll be a 9am start and we'll arrive at the pub in time for lunch (if it's too hot I may shoot off earlier myself though)
Though if we're expecting heat, we'll probably get downpours
