I'd advise you to take her to the vets before xmas though....she's very young and better to be safe than sorry! I hope she brings you many years of happiness

She's very young still, and if she needs worming it's best to start it sooner rather than later. A heavy worm burden can make such small pups very sick indeed and you don't need an emergency over the Christmas break
It'll also give her a chance to experience the vets without any 'nasty' vaccinations, giving her a positive experience.

My vet was great with Kismet and allowed me to take her in a few times before we went in for Vaccs just for biscuits and treats so by the time we had the jabs, Kismet was excited to be there and happily munched biccies while she had her jabs and didn't even notice. She still loves the nurses, but is more wary of the vet since her tummy bug.

The vets and nurses will be more than happy to meet this adorable little thing before christmas for first check up and registration... My vet invited us back for weight check whenever we wanted, which was a great way to keep track of her growth and the nurses all fell in love so I know Kismet will be spoiled rotten if I ever have to leave her there now
