getting rid of the tug, for me,was usefull, in getting a dog to see a human with more respect, along with other practices, it helped during training, taking the dog to a new level, back to basics, never included tug...thought it might help in this case...i never thought, rising levels of excitement through tug was positive...im now finding out from others that its a tool for positive training...life still goes on in my yard without it..and just maybe it could be apart of this ladys troubles....respectfully..it was for me

Hi thanks for your replys but the lady in Rochdale is a bit too far from me unfortunatly.

I'm getting desperate now as last night it was a disaster we had to walk down a small path to get off the field and there was a man with a Gs and a greyhound you just stood and waited for us to come down the path (my two have played with these dogs off lead) all dogs on lead as main road near by and my two (yes both) went mad the Gs went back at them but gladly no contact (on leads) they were totally out of control which is totally surprising for my older Lab who is gentle and a big softie.

So I am dreading walks today I just don't know whats happened too them.

Thanks Sarah
