Good Luck at the vets with your dear girl, I sincerely hope that the vet can do something for her but if not I am sure that you will make the right decision for Ludmilla. It is never easy to face the truth of possibly losing one of our treasured friends and I don't envy you. God bless.

Thank you all so very much for all your positive vibes, comforting words and good wishes, they must have worked cause I've got her home with me.

I must explain that although my o/h bought Ludmilla for me for my birthday shehas always been a Daddy's girl. My o/h works away from Tues and comes home on a Friday and today he came home just after 3 and she perked up when she saw him, but still did not get up. He took the boys out and she watched him very alert but still not getting up. However at just before 6.pm we both put our jackets on and he got her lead and came in to lift her and carry her to the car and as he put the lead on her she got up, was a little shaky on her feet but walked out to the car. We were both amazed.

So the vet gave her an injection and put her on Carprodryl. and said to keep an eye on her and I am thinking of getting a gate for the stairs and I am putting rugs on the tiles in the hall and in the lounge so she does not slip.

I am just so relieved that she has had a reprieve and I thank you all again for your support to us both.
