That duck is lucky it wasnt my lot who chose to 'retrieve' it. It's such an undesirable trait to have a gundog that kills things rather than retrieves them but they cant all be perfect!

Who knows, he likes to just sit in expanses of water, he is a strange dog. Copper does some cracking pointer poses, perhaps there is some illicit pointer genes in there!

Ohhh but they are docked, it's a 3/4 dock they have. Much nicer than a full dock, imo.

It is such a wonderful place, so haunting almost in it's beauty. Love it up there.

Copper is very very serious about fetching. It's his whole purpose in life, from first thing in the morning when he fetches your shoes until last thing at night when he goes to sleep with the last item he fetched in his bed

It's horrible, if he has to wait his turn he sits and shivers all over
