I find it depends what it is , if its a small treat she'll eat it where she ids , but if its a proper dog chew she will always take it in the hall or garden ,onr things for sure she'll always be looking for more

Ozzy always takes his pig-ear to bed to eat, but doesn't guard it - I think he just likes to eat it in comfort!

Yep, Poppy does the same. We've got a sheepskin rug in front of the fireplace, she always takes her biscuit or chew in the lounge and lays on the rug to eat it.
