Its not what you would class a "mental health issue " either.

I did not see anywhere in the OP post which stated that the person for whom the dog was intended had "mental health issues" unless of course a "lack of confidence" has become a "mental health issue"

It is an area in which I am particularly interested hence my membership of SCAS.

If it was a simple lack of confidence I would agree, but given the OP asking for help suggests otherwise.

Well sometimes it is more entertaining for readers to infer things from posts that have not been implied or stated it is true..............

But even if that was true in this case, the last link you posted was not going to be much help for the the case concerned.

Given the subject is only lacking confidence, even the more imaginativeness of us, cant confuse that with physical disabilities

So your link, is not really much help to the poster is it.

Given your interest and membership of SCAS. , one would expect you to be a little more on the ball with the help/links you post.

Dog A.I.D. (Assistance In Disability) is a national voluntary organisation which provides specialised training for people with physical disabilities and their own pet dog.

Blimey I don't usually say much but in the past I had what sounds like similar problems to the OP's friend.

I know you are all probably not wanting to raise any false hopes but do you realise how negative some of you sound
