Ah right. Well back in those days it might have been acceptable but it certainly isn't today.

Persecuting someone because of their religious beliefs IS a crime. Saying you want to kill someone and feed them to the dogs IS a crime.

Well if you read this forum you would see that people on here have had really bad problems with yobs and the police haven't responded or couldn't give a damn.

I have never had to call the police out for anything serious fortunately but I have heard of lots that have and sometimes its taken DAYS for them to respond not hours. The police might do a great job in your area Azz but that doesn't mean they do all over the country.

I thought we were talking about 'serious' crimes?
