Spjurt Thanks for that I Just asked Buddies for a quote and it came back t £27 odd for the Silver which is only £3,000 and £35 odds for the Gold for £5,000. The quote I got from Virgin ws only £16.odds a month with the no excess option. and that was for the accident/illness extra cover.

Sorry spjurt but the company you are with is way too high for me, in fact for me too they have been the dearest yet.

Yes it is amazing.

I phoned the Kennel Club Insurance and was quoted £24.95 per month with a £50 excess but this was their top policy which covers for £10,000 and is continuous. So although mpre expensive than what I am paying at present the return on this one is I think really good value for money the only snag is their is no discount for additional dogs. But it is def. a better option than Buddies for me.

Well, I've been just about everywhere, some were quite laughable, some I couldn't get past half way for some strange reason, kept throwing it back at me Anyway, got a very good quote from Direct Line for basic vet cover only which is all I want really, up to £4,000 in any 12 months which is good enough for me, after all, I only need a safety net for any emergency coz he's not covered for his existing conditions, £130 excess which is ok with me because he only ever goes to the vets for his skin which I can't claim for anyway. All this for the tidy little sum of £14 per month!!! Yayy, that's more like it A lot better than £240 a year or even £540 with that other company I tried!! Again, this will probably double next year but I will do the same again when it comes to it and change to a cheaper company. It certainly pays to shop around doesn't it!!!

I use Tesco insurance, 38 quid a month fully comprehensive, covers both boys, just as well with accident prone Inka lol. I had a lot of bother finding cover because they kept telling me they did'nt insure wolf hybrids, did'nt matter what I said most companys had N.I listed as wolf hybrids !

Oh my goodness! Im with M & S at the moment and my policy is up for renewal this month. I pay about a tenner at the moment for Fudge which I think is really good but if it goes up too much I will be going elsewhere
