I dont think rescues are saying that at all, but thousands and thousands of dogs are being put down each week and they see this day in day out. So of course they want to reduce breeding.

If as a rescue you beleive dogs should be neutered because thousands are put to death weekly, for want of a home, then you would not place with someone who is not of that beleif, because they are most likely adding to the situation.

No. I didn't say Personally, the majority I knew about, I said breeders in general.
