Wow - long thread.

I thought I'd tell you how silly my OH is. He's been learning breeds - he struggles with his spaniels a bit. Then today "Thats a huge husky that is" no Adie thats a Malamute was rather funny - as I'd told him the day before - look a Malamute - *sigh* men!

we use a more boring term... "want"

"I want a muffin" for example... or if we're feeling a bit more umm "proper" we'd say "I'd like a muffin" or to be a bit Red Neck "I could use a muffin 'bout now" or "How 'bout a muffin"

Ahhh - maybe you should use it over there? People may look twice
