Appendix 2 to breeding:
The younger the bitch, the better. First season is ideal - best to breed from her before any health issues may become noticeable. Every bitch should have at least one litter. It makes them healthier, calms them down, and it's what they want.
You can rehome puppies from 4 weeks onwards. The younger, the better they will bond to the new owner. Well-bonded dogs don't need any training or exercise, they are content following the owner around all the time.
Change your dogs frequently in line with current trends to maximise returns.

If you don't want to go down the poo or doodle breeding route there is always the option of wolf or something inuit road. Of course you could always do both and have a non shedding, perfectly trainable wolf lookalike that sells for £25,000 a pup!!

Blue is always rare in all breeds except Weimeraners where white is the rare colour.

You can always charge more for a rare colour. Rare colours can be classified as anything you haven't seen before, so research into your breeds is detrimental to how 'rare' your puppies may be.

Blue eyes puppies (although they may be blind see blue eyes in dogs) are always more popular than brown eyed puppies, if your breed does not normally have blue eyes, selling your pups really early before their eye colour changes will allow you to add may be a blue eyed dog to the description and add £££ to the asking price.

Don't forget to charge more for Bitches than Boy dogs, Bitches are money making puppy makers and so reassure prospective buyers that the bitch will make the additional money back and more after the first couple of litters off them.

There is nothing to stop you having a sliding scale of prices depending on the puppies in the litter... Your puppy advert could look like this one:

Litter of rare pedigree* Huskawolfadoos for sale. 3Girls 4Boys left**. 3 pups are rare blue*** colour! Both parents have excellent temperaments and full health checks****. Pups come with full papers detailing their pedigrees*****. Non shedding, easy to train, wolf look alikes. Ready to go to new homes from 5 weeks. Pups may have blue eyes! *****
Boys £600 (blue dog £700, Blue eyed blue dog £750)
Girls £750 (Blue girls £850, Blue eyed girl £900)
Hurry puppies going fast!

*The parent dogs, somewhere along the lines had pedigrees
** no matter how many pups were born, always advertise as being 'left' will make people think their popular
***Grey
****Printed them off this morning
***** remember all puppies have blue eyes when they're little enough and people like never return a puppy so you'll be sailing.

Crossbreeds
aka Designer Dogs. Yes, all of them. Owned by dimwits. No money should ever change hands for one as they are impure - if anything it's you who should be paid to take one on. Don't expect too much of one, as they have inferior genes. But they are quite sweet really.

Bichon Frises and similar small, white and fluffy dogs (they're basically all the same, right?)
No need to train a recall with these dogs, they're only little anyway so what's the point? Just give them free rein of a string Flexi lead, regardless of your surroundings. Hilarity ensues when they get tangled up in a lamp post, someone's legs or another dog. Just try to make sure they don't end up under a bus.
They wouldn't hurt a fly so let them do what they like. It's those big mean dogs you've got to watch out for.

They all have skin problems and you have to clean the wrinkles out every day. They all go blind because of their eyelids turning in. They all have manky ears and go deaf. They all cost a fortune at the vets. The only proper ones are fawn coloured, apart from the blue ones which are dead expensive so you should breed them to make your money back. All their health problems stem from them being crossed with chows (expressed by a supposed expert vet in the breed) even though chows don't get things like fevers, hock attacks and amyloidosis. All the ones in China are healthy.

And they are cute as puppies but grown into either unmanageable brutes or are just animated soft toys. But it doesn't matter as they'll be dead by the age of 6 anyway.

I could go on and on and on and on and on and....

Chiwawa: (caus thats how its spelt dont ya kno!)
Whilst not technically a dog they do look rather like one. The chiwawa is an accessory rather like hair extensions, the latest mobile phone etc. They have extremely small legs with no bones in them, and for this reason they are unable to walk. The chiwawa must always be carried preferrably in your handbag. If you do not have enough room in your handbag then there are many chiwawa carry bags on the market, in designs and colours to suit most customers. The chiwawa must always be dressed expecially when outside as otherwise they get cold and can freeze to death very quickly. The more pink and sparkly the clothing is the more your chiwawa will like it. Even the boy ones, they dont mind!

Brittany

Has some similar characteristics to the springer spaniel, and english setter, hates mud and water, and needs no exercise what so ever. You will be the envy of your friends with your Brittany sleeping in front of your real fire.
Look even better than a springer in the back of your 4x4 a country fairs as they are not as common, and when people ask you ' is that a springer x english setter, you can snottily reply ' no its a Brittany'
Look great beside you when you have your green wellies and tweed jacket on.
If on those rare occassions your Brittany does get wet or muddy it has a self cleaning coat too.
Very lazy dogs, and like most gundog breeds comes ready trained. Ideal for owners who are out all day, as your Brittany will just sleep all day.
Real Brittanies should be ginger and white, (if they have speckles then they're just english setter x, innit) ( if they're black and white then obviously they're collie crosses)

I hope not. If this had been the first thread I'd read as new first time dog owner, I'd have closed the window and never come back.

Yes, you're all wonderful, extremely knowledgeable, morally superior dog owners. Do you need to bask in your own condescending attitudes quite so much?
