No reply to my email yet unfortunately. But, of course, it may not be your dog.
Let's hope this week brings good news.
Hugs xx

i have no reply either which realistically if it was somebody with nothing to hide prob would have sent some kind of reply just saying sold or no longer for sale dont you think it was only on there for about 1hr from when i first saw it to people saying it had dissapeared, maybe they will readvertise somewhere else maybe a better advert so to not look as dodgy perhaps with a false pic.. fingers crossed xx

Gosh, that does sound dodgy. I would hope gumtree would cooperate with you - they'd have logged their IP address wouldn't they? It'd be illegal for them to give it to you I suppose, but if the police were involved and requested it, it might be different? I'm rubbish at computeriness, but perhaps someone might be able to put me right on that?

Thinking of you, and really hoping for good news, or a lead at least.

yep thats correct my partner tried to do a ping a very dated technique to get somebody's ip address but because of security on the gutree server it wouldnt work long shot but worth a try. Yep the police could ask for the ip also if this person was somebody already known to them they may take it a little more seriously
