I was 22 and Bf was 32, but........as he neared 40 and me 30 it all changed. He had been married and had the kids, whereas i wanted those things.
We split up and he is now with a 39 who like him has been there and done that.
I am now looking for a younger man...have my sights on a nice 22 yr old lol.

When I divorced my first hubby, I went out with a guy of 22 yrs for 12 months....he was very mature for his age I was 46........so what. Who cared not us. I ended it as he was all for settling down and I wasn't.

Then I met Patrick I'm a year and a half older then him, I act it at times....he acts 10 years old at times.
Then somedays I act like a stroppy 13 year old and He acts 54 years...it swings in round-abouts. What should matter hun is this

Thanks for this guys. im 22 and he is 35 i know its quite a bit different but we are happy together. The only problem is there is alot of friction between him and his parents to the point when i got so fed up with it that we moved from Essex back to Wiltshire as i just couldnt deal with the agro i got when he was not around. Once we had moved they disowned him and i did everything in my power to try and get things back on track between him and his parents (to be honest now i wish i hadnt bothered as they still hate me!!) They now occasionally talk to each other but his mum continues to make life difficult and there is always so much confrontation between us all i just dont know what to do about it
