Champion the wonder horse was always my favourite programme, I dreamed of having a horse like Champion, that would come running wherever I was as soon as I whistled or called. Rebel the dog was brilliant as well.
White horses was my close second favourite followed by folleyfoot farm.
I wish they would bring these programmes back so we could see them again and the children of today could enjoy them as well.
I can still sing the theme songs to all three of the programmes.

Wow this is so uncanny...Clive and I have been having this conversation all week (sad aren't we?)

He not only remembers hundreds of programmes, he can even sing me the theme tune too! Gets a bit annoying in the end that does

We've come up with the following this week:

The Champions - remember Alexandre Bastedo and her big hairdo!

The Professionals

The Sweeney

Dempsey & Makepeace

Sapphire & Steele

Randall & Hopkirk dec'd

There was one that I can remember with Zoe Wannamaker and Pierce Brosnan (before he was famous) and I can't for the life of me remember the name of it. Clive thought I was making it up I think. If anyone knows what it was please let me know, and if you can hum the theme tune even better

Pierce Brosnan was Remington Steele.

Zoe Wannamaker wasn't in that though.

Oh thanks Becky...I wonder if it was her dad that was in it, or had something to do with it...I remember the surname you see.

Hey, do you remember the theme tune to it? xx

I don't have a clue what its called, but it was cartoon-like.

There was a little girl who had a magic dress with a flower on it and when she touched the flower and made a wish it came true. But she was only allowed 3 wishes a day.

Her first wish was always to make her toy panda come to life, then they would go off & have 2 further wishes, then every time, she'd get over-excited, make a 4th wish and all her previous wishes would disappear.

No-one else I've ever met can remember this (and all think I'm bonkers), but I'm sure I couldn't have made it up. The only thing is that I lived in Singapore from 3-6 years old, so perhaps I watched it there and it was never on British TV.

Anyone recognise it?
I don't know if it is the same one I remember but mine had a panda in it to who lived in a tree house. He was called Isaynoho. No-one remembers but me

No, doesn't sound the same, but I think us two must have lived in our own little worlds

Having said that, I did find something about yours on google
(not sure whether link will be allowed but http://answers.yahoo.com/question/in...8063326AAGcBUE)

The High Chapperal
Lancer
Alias Smith and Jones - I had a huge crush on Ben Murphy!!

Friday night Horror films, at about 10.30pm every friday on Yorkshire TV!! In the 70's these films coincided with the power cuts that we had, 4 hours on and 4 hours off. The Friday night film was during the 'off' time and we listened to the film on Redifusion, just imagine Boris Karloff, Christopher Lee and Vincent Price, I used to be terrified and daren't go to bed in the dark, power cuts don't forget, candle light is very eerie!!

Sunday Night at the London Palladium
Black and White Minstrel Show
Opportunity Knocks
New faces
Manhunt
Come Dancing
Animal Magic with Johnny Morris, loved the 'talking' animals!
Outer Limits

Goodness me this thread brings back some memories

We had a Redufusion TV and could still get sound even with no electricity, not sure if this was only available in our area so we sat by the light of the gas fire and listened to the horror films, The Mummy, The Tingler, House on Haunted Hill and many more...........

http://uk.youtube.com/watch?v=TtQTVLutDWI

Link to The Tingler trailer, this one scared me witless!!!
