I believe the ears are uncropped(but am not possitive) They have rounded ears which maybe a development over the years as they are landlocked in the Azores. Although many examples have docked tails, so i am sure the possibility of ear cropping is not impossible. Still very impressive working dogs. There is a programme in Norway where this breed is being utilised as a working dog only.

Tamazigh - according to Wikipedia:
"The tail is usually docked at the 2nd or 3rd vertebra. The ears are normally cut round"

I'd like to meet a icelandic sheepdog

the pulik i know don't smell! komondors however are a different matter! I suppose it depends on how they are kept.

And the mexican hairless i think would feel pretty much like a naked crested dog or a sphynx cat - which to me always feel slightly greasy to touch.

yeah i suppose -the only crested i ever touched felt like he was covered in warts........maybe he was!
