Whether in the paper or not, the Tax Man won't take any notice unless the litter is reported and then the people can 'prove' they paid that much, and the owners of the bitch can 'prove' they earned that much, and as I can't see them handing out receipts for the pups, and the people buying wouldnt question that, the Tax man has little hope of proving they actually earned anything, as they could declare that they gave them away !

American Bulldogs are comanding less and less these days because the breed is so over populated and so hard to home. I have a nasty feeling she could end up with more than a few pups left 'up her kilt' excuse the pun. This cross is nothing special...infact I would be VERY dubious of buying a puppy of this cross simply because of what both the parents are! I own both breeds, and both are hard work I can't imagine living with a cross between the two, sounds like my idea of a nightmare!

it cost me around £3'200 to rear my last litter of 11 {hand reared } but you can add a few more hundred on for toys, nice bits and bobs,,
so even if it costs her £5'000 to rear them {which I doubt it will } she still made a good income from them,

Giving them publicity like this will worsen the matter, they look like ordinary cross-breeds to me, haven't the foggiest how she could even think of charging £1000 for one!!! She will no doubt breed from the poor bitch again and again just to make money.
