block of 4 puppy classes (for dogs 18 weeks and under at the start) was £35
The 'Think Dog' course for older pups and dogs, 8 weeks at £70.

I know some rubbish lcasses near here charge £10 per lesson and you have to pay for 10 up front!!!!!!!

I think I payed about £60 for six sessions with Chris Briggs.
The classes were very good, there was a rolling intake so the puppies got to meet a wider range of different dogs than if it had been the same 8 or 10 puppies throughout the course. I did the course with Dash and we both really enjoyed it. At the end the puppies all got the KCGC Puppy Foundation Asessement Award.

With Rosie I didn't attend a puppy class as there wasn't one being run at the time even though there is only 4 months between the two dogs ages. Rosie attended one of Chris Briggs training courses from 20 weeks old.
Of the two of them Dash is the more balanced, better socialized dog.

There are some terrible classes around that are just a puppy free for all, the puppies run around roughing each other up and half the dogs wind up with long term problems mixing with other dogs.

I spent £40 for a 6 week beginners course - 12 dogs. I would hope to have fewer (8?) in a puppy class, so would expect to pay more. With insurance, venue and a trainer and assistant, you`re not going to make a profit!

The class we go to round here, charges £4 per night per dog, but they group all dogs together rather than just a puppy course. But each dog is tailored to individually!

Another course round here is about £80 for a 4 week puppy training and socialisation course, we went once, but won't bother again, wasn't worth it. At the same time as that our vet was offering puppy socialisation parties for free!

Our agility club does a puppy course, which is £55 for a 10 week course, but that is slightly biased towards agility!

Thanks guys

There's quite a deviation isn't there!

We have cheaper classes here in Sheffield too but they're awful... the one I went to for £50 for 6 weeks was brilliant and if I had the money, I wouldn't begrudge paying it again!
