We as adults should feel responsible for all children on this site, not just our own.
I agree with the nonce bit but, feel it's up to yourself as a parent.

I don't think masking faces stops people being able to tell who owns the dog as most folk recognise the dogs.

As for masking for 'other' reasons - as parents we're responsible for our own children whether it be on the net or anything else.

I'll vote 'up to the parents'

I understand what people are saying about masked faces , When i said i like to see the faces i mean its lovely to see hapy smiling faces of children with there beloved pet , But then again i can understand parents apprehension of perverts oggling there children and how parents would like to keep there childrens faces covered to protect them and there idenity , So I guess its really up to the individual parent or gaurdian xxdk

I also agree it should be up to the parent/guardian.

Problem is Phil as recent court cases have clearly shown, you just never know who is looking at this site or any other for that matter.

I guess I'm lucky as all my kids have grown up now, but that said I would hate to vote for something that you or anyone else with children have no control over, i.e.: you can't stop those sick bas*ards perving over your daughter or any other child for that matter.

Your right you are responsible for our own child, but surely a pubic forum which is open to any Tom, Dick or Harry should have a few more security guards put into place.

I like a uniform on a lass. Have you got a French maid one?

During the 2007 Show I was that guard it was me who decided masked faces only, but, people often post pics of their young`uns generally and I did have pm`s from parents asking the possibility of an unmasked class so I did allow parent/ guardian discretion for two classes and all entrants did take up the unmasked option so I decided this time to do the poll.

I will say though, that regardless of the poll outcome whatever that may be, for any classes for juniors I would not allow entries to be posted such as a youngster in a paddling pool or on the beach, [ for instance ], with their dog unless the child is fully dressed, ie kids in swimsuits would not be acceptable for any of the classes masked face or not.

Its sickening that there is such a vile element of perverseness in society that anyone should ever have to worry about posting a lovely pic of their child anywhere on the net but the fact is they are `out there` hence my caution with the 2007 Show and taking the step of this poll for the 2008.
