I only used to venture that side of the bridge occasionally on a weekend or nice day. I had a little Labrador cross ( from the Newcastle cat and dog shelter) and we mostly visited Hendon Beach and I remember many a misty morning there, just like in your photo!

What a coincidence, I bet it did bring back memories, I've been to Hendon beach too, it's not quite the Bahamas is it

Neither of my two would have joined Toby in the sea, though Missy might have done if her ball was out there!
Thanks MissE, he does tend to go in only in nice days when the sea is calm, he likes swimming in the better weather when we take him to the lake district too
