Poor Cerys, I hope she feels better soon.

I had it about the age of 5 but I don't have any scars so I think my mum must have super glued me to the bed to stop me scratching

Wasn't it Brundogs' little one who had it recently on here too?

Perhaps it's catching on Dogsey? lol

You need to get a big box of bicarbonate of soda from a chemist (bigger than those in supermarkets) and put it in her bath water with no soap. It eases the itching so much.

I had chicken pox when I was 15 and it was hell, far better if you have it when little.

My son was about 4, coz I can remember taking him to see Toy Story as he wasn't allowed at nursery.

Thanks for that Becky - I hadn't seen that. Poor Luca's younger than Carys.

Bicarb - does that really work?

WOW! I looked it up!

Bicarb in the bath works wonders -keep the bath on the cooler side but it dries the spots up great and takes the itch out -hope she feels better soon xx

Okay I asked OH to do the bicarb bath while I took Loki out for his walk,.

He couldn't find the bicarb so he used baking powder!

Well I wouldn't mind but said he used it because it contains bicarb but he didn't put it on her hair because it was baking powder.

Work that out!
