They took 500mls off each of the boys last night, that's a total of 1ltr of pure rottie blood.
That amount will save the lives of eight dogs.

There were no ill effects from either of them, had a look at the site on their knecks this morning where they took the donations from, not a mark.

The vet asked me if I minded about her shaving a small area on their knecks, as it could maybe predudice a judges decision in the show ring.
I said, "carry on, if a judge asked about it, I'd tell him they were blood doners" probably get a first place.

If you have dogs from medium to large size, please join up, at the moment they can take dogs 25kgs or over.

This is the link.

Excellent thing you've done.
Unfortunately mine are not big/heavy enough to donate, but well done to your boys and you. I think it's a great thing

the site is intresting, but nananananan Im right your not nanananananan the plasma can be stored for 5 years the red blood,,can only be stored for 42 days, I was sure they couldnt store it for long,,,, sure they may come up with a solution one day,,, our lot are more on call if you know what I mean, so If james got an emergency in that needed blood quickly He would call one of the dogs on the list to come in day or middle of the night to give blood,
