That's shocking! The poor dog I hope it's not really true but if it is, and I find out where they operate from, they'll be getting a piece of my mind and Takara can keep a piece of their butt for a souvenir

Was this definitely a dog hire? I know of a couple of people who do a 'dog share'. One already had a dog but their circumstances changed and they were forced to work longer hours so someone else now 'shares' the dog and it lives with first owner most of the time, going to owner two's house over the weekend or something...

Personally, I think a dog share is the ideal answer to a change of circumstances rather than having to rehome but the idea of a dog hire makes me feel sick!
