Nice try, but no way . Mind you, I don't think you would be happy with the results anyway - mine usually just get a swim in the river to clean off and somehow I just don't think that would have done the trick in Bruno's case

Those certificates are beautiful Patch - great idea to organise this show. Hali you did a great job judging - they were all great and dirty dogs!

Thanks for your patience guys when I had any queries on your entries!

Better get ready for the next class now Good luck all!
And thanks to you for your bit

Some lovely photos there - well done everyone

Lots of thanks to the organisers
I suppose there could be worst things to excel in, but I'm having a hard time thinking of them just now

There will be classes for Pedigree/purebred non-recognised breeds on the same footing as the recognised breeds, I hope you managed to get all that glorious gunge off him so he can pose in his clean Show best pose for it

Well done to everyone who entered, I can tell you Hali had a very difficult time choosing. I know I could`nt have done it, every time I looked at the entries and tried to imagine placing them I just could`nt do it, every one of them made me chuckle with delight

That was exactly the problem - we (me & my assistant judges) stared at some of the photos for ages - and definitely this one in particular, trying to work out what was 'muck' and what was wet. In not knowing the dogs, we thought his paws were dirty and everything else was soggy rather than mucky.

Perhaps if we have this class again a 'before' and 'after' photo for each entrant might be appropriate.

Ohhh definitly muck! Thick sea mud after the tide went out.

I agree a before and after would be good

There he is cleaner so you can see what colour he actually is.

I don't think any of us thought about it beforehand - sometimes its not until you've tried something that you can think of other ways it could be done - we had start somewhere
