My Kali started to dig when he was about that age. A stern-voiced "NO DIGGING!" stopped him in his tracks, and he hasn't tried it on since. It may have been the surprise he got from being "sterned" that may have led to the apparent success. His litter-brother Merlin is still an accomplished escape-artist, though - ten years later!

Dogs? Who'd have 'em?

Shes still at it, its getting bigger and deeper. The only way I can get her to leave it is to wave the honey jar enticingly in her sight. All the ususal things have failed, balls, weeds [loves to trail weeds through the house], liver, cheese. Honey is the favour of the moment probably because she only gets it in her yogurt.

Im biding my time, getting her used to digging and enjoying it and then I will start to show her where to dig, method in my maddness. I trained diggers before to dig where I wanted them to and help with the gardening!

Bet when I start taking her down onto the beach, she will be one of the ones that delights in rolling in dead smelly things!
