As you say, there needs to be a black or liver under the tail for the tan patch to show up. I was thinking of solids as it's easy to see the tan, just me engaging fingers before brain again .

Look at Inkas mask



This is Inka with one of the brown puppies, as you can see Inka had a full mask then, the next 2 pix is how Inka and the brown pup has changed
Look how pale Inkas face has turned out, next pup is the brown pup

I know that Aussies that are going to have red noses are born with a pink nose. And his freckle develope over time.

Boxers are like a mousy mouse colour there red or brindle colour is notvery visible or apparent at birth this one would be a few days old
