I have just watched it again and am still none the wiser. In the coffin I think it maybe swayer or locke as the newspaper cutting Jack was reading the name began with a J, so they are the only two, or it could be someone who is not in the show yet.

I also think that walt maybe dead, as the smoke on the island has shown itself as a person, such as ekkos brother who was dead and there was another time which I cant remember.
