This is the standard competition tyre now

http://www.agilitywarehouse.com/prod...ail.cfm?id=682

There is a company trying out a better one, [ oddly enough wit the tyre/hoop itself of a construction I suggested/described as what I would like to see a few years before it started being manufactured....],
which has been used in some competitions so far I believe [ in the Midlands or North area ? ],

http://www.adamsagility.co.uk/100_0021.JPG

I`d like to see the suspension posts on that one made safer, I can imagine some dogs misjumping and having a nasty accident so for me the ideal would be the padded tyre in the current normal competition/training style frame as per the first link - I`m working on it while putting some proposals together ].

So, all clubs really should only have the tyre as on the Agilitynet link, thats what dogs will be expected to do in competitions, [ KC competitions and most if not all unafiliated ], so it does`nt make sense to me not to train with the same one as the norm but most importantly never ever to use the chain tyre

Thanks also for your really kind comments about Fudge. She really did me proud today. It was a real buzz.
Heck, my pleasure, all comments were well deserved I`m so pleased for you both that you decided to give Agility a go and if ever you are down this way and want some training, for that girl as many sessions as you could want are on the house, it would be my privelige

Fudge looks like a natural. Skye would probably fall off the high beam thing. I imagine Fingal would snap it.
