oooo i don't do north wests and easts....just lefts and rights or over there or over that way

the walk advised us to stick to the river and not to follow the forrestry commison footpaths as it was a bit more open and not stuck in trees all the time.

As a sepearte question....Have you ever been to Rannoch Moor, we've been a couple of times, drove right up to the station...there is a lovely beach overlooking the loch I have photos but they wern't taken on a digi camera.

How about Moncrieffe hill woods ?

It's a woodland walk - good paths - not too strenuous and there's no sheep.

I posted some pics on here last time I went.
