I think poss the springer would not cope with it as well as a lab may, not that any dog should cope but as said before it happens, some folk aint got a brain, that said I have met a few labs that would be worse than springers but on the whole I think springers, they are just all go go go go go,

Here we have the crime list from Storm, the * sign is stars and the s for skye, This is from a happy dog who were kept active so i can only guess at how much damage a bored neglected lab could do.

countless pairs of shoes & slippers (sister lost a days work as he destroyed 2 and half pairs in a night leaving her shoeless)*

True, i was listening to my ipod the other day and said to my sister this is one of the few things that has not been left with his "mark", remembered one more thing he damaged, A box file containing all the dogs vet, kc, insurance and pedigree papers, found after his death.

I was laying the patio a few years back, i turned round to see him spitting chunks away where he had chewed it, when i shouted over to him to stop he pulled it it from the top of the others and smash.

oops
I know and there is probably a load of stuff i have forgot about, we still find his mark almost 9 months after he died.

We added up once the cost of buying him, jabs, ops and medication and the stuff damaged ate or destroyed and it totaled way over £10,000,
