O I am glad you know what it is Hevvur , poor little chap he is having a bad time of late. A harness would be good as there would not be any pressure on the neck and throat at all . Amy has one that is also a car seat belt , a loop goes through the human belt and clips on to it so it is duel purpose I wonder was the vomiting connected as in choking until he was sick?

I told the vet about Kingsley being sick, but he didn't comment.
It must be what you said Mini.
He choked so much, being sick was a 'natural' reaction.

I think I will have to take Kingsley back to the vets in a few days.
He is still on the medication, and it was working at first, but the past few days he has been wheezing lots again

Sorry to hear that Hevvur poor little man, yes I would go back and maybe the vet will change his meds, they use ones similar to human asthmatics I guess, brochodilators and various types of anti-inflammatory so it may be a case of getting the one to suit I read somewhere recently that Yorkies are prone to this condition and it has a hereditary factor. Hope he improves soon, lots of cuddles needed I think

Thankyou

Im hoping they can sort it!

Talked to a few people who know Yorkies with the problem!
He enjoys his walks now he has the harness - and guess what......as soon as I put the harness on him...his lead was slack! He has not pulled once!
Two good things in one!

Well, we went back to the vets tonight, as Kingsley is no better.
I saw a different (nicer) one than last time.

He said it's more of a Tracheal narrowing than an actual collapse....but mainly the same thing.

The tablets Kingsley was on before, are to keep the airways in the lung open.
The vet has given me more of those, and Kingsley is on them twice a day.

He has given me another tablet, an anti-inflamitry one, and he has to take half twice a day.

The vet said he wants Kingsley back in 10 to 14 days.
If there is no significant change, he'd like to x-ray him.

He also said Kingsley isn't as overweight as the other vet made out, so not to worry about his weight.

About 20 mins ago, Kingsley was sitting on my knee, and projectile vommited again
All over me, my clothes, the sofa, the remote control, my slippers, the floor
Poor thing.
