They are beautiful , you don't see that many around, there seem to be far more ESS. I don't know why Welshies arn't more popular

probably because there was only about 400 welshies registered last year, were a numerically small breed

Which I think is a good thing!

At least with this number of registrations you can pretty much gurantee a lot less rescues and unwanted dogs.

The ESS is a bit too popular IMO and there are soooo many unwanted dogs out there.

we always sell our pups with the contract they go back to the breeder, works wonders.
wss rescue usually takes oldies or rehomes ex show dogs
