Hey Jenny

Sorry I'm having a bit of pc trouble, but yeah I took the carpet off AND I took her toys away.

Luna is now left with a frozen kong and a rawhide chew and that's it.

And since then - no probs at all, no biting walls either!

I don't know why Indie's acting like this, sorry but I hope you find a solution some how

Hi Bellaluna, I wouldn't leave a dog alone with a rawhide, no matter what, there has been some incidents where the dog has choked on it, sorry to bring this up, but it is better to know than not to no, the choice of course is upto you.

Ian - have you seen the size of Luna's rawhide chews While I agree there is always a risk I think that it may be slightly less in Luna's case. Although there is always the possibility that she could munch off a bit & choke she will certainly never get the whole lot stuck

This kind I would never leave her alone with:

I would NEVER EVER leave her with a small chew or a chew with knots.

But this is what SB is talking about:

I leave this chew for her every day, but she actually doesnt chew in it before I come home, but better safe than chewed walls

And I do believe a chew is better than bits of her basket (plastic). Luna have these "designer"baskets with the rough edges too:

(The "ickle" one):

(the big one):

i dont leave indie with rawhides anymore cos no matter how big they are, she tends to rip big bits off and try and swallow them in one go and get them stuck. she now has those chewy bones, that are soft enough to break up with ur hands, JUMBONE i think its called

anyway, shes been left in one room since we had her and she hasnt had a problem b4, there isnt more access we can give her.

dunno
