Hi Tracy she does not have it that long, I take it off her after about 3/4 to an hour as it just becomes a soggy mess, and I worry about her getting it stuck in her throat.

Oh I know they go all soggy and horrible, I prefer to give mine those hard white bones, which are usually filled with something. I scrape half of it out though cos if they have too much they get the runs. Mine gnaw on them for months.

Very nice photo's by the way

Thanks Mitch.

Tess only gets one of these as a bribe when Sal is going out running with my brother she is too little to go as he runs fast

They have raw knuckle bones which they adore - in different rooms

Nice pics Kazz she is a beautiful little pup such a shiny coat too. She is getting stuck into that bone, its always comical watching them.

Have you ever tried the Nylabones? That is the only type mine get now, no fat and no mess whatsoever some are really good for their teeth too.

Nylabone hum, I;ve always looked at them but for some reason never brought them - interesting though if your's don't do any damage to them Laura I doubt mine will. And the fact Libs can't kill it in one sitting has to say a lot for them

Do they not bite off lumps etc?

Hi Kazz,

I would put money on it that your dogs cant destroy them (if you buy one & they manage to I will give you £20 ). I have one that is over a year old I just boil it now & again to clean it. They are completley solid I have never known a dog to manage a lump of one, gawd even I couldnt break them!

They are around £9 for a pack of two which seems expensive for a bone, some of the larger ones are even dearer for just the one (there are loads of different kinds), but because they last so long they probably cost less than the hide ones in the long term and even better no sticky mess.

Cheers
Laura
