I was just laughing to myself - can you imagine me trying to get a coat like that for Ozzy? I'd have to buy an adult parka!!!LOL

I see no difference between artgirl sharing her pic of her dog dressed up than the hundreds of other photos we have had of other members dogs dressed up, but for some reason she is getting criticized.

I have scrolled through the Dog Pictures section and come across numerous photos of other peoples dogs in jumpers, santa hats, hoodies and all I have seen is nice comments saying how cute they are!

Here is one of Ozzy

I don't mind dogs in clothes at all, as long as the dog isn't overheating or restricted movement or anything. I see it as the owners choice how they spend their money.....much rather they spoil their dog as a child substitute buying it hoodies and diamante collars, than neglect it's welfare. I probably wouldn't personally dress my own dog.....our labrador wouldn't keep anything on anyway. Maybe if it was a smaller breed and it was very cold outside.

I think Sadie looks beautiful without her coat and with it artgirl.

I've avoid saying anything on anyone elses thread but this thread is specifically about dogs in clothes so thought it would be fine to comment on here.

I dont think artgirl or ozzysmum dressed their dogs up like dolls! I think they were doing something cute to make people smile- its not exactly animal cruelty! Lighten up people! Its a bit of fun!
