we have a Frontera estate diesel. Wouldn't change it for anything else. Never had any problems with it. Plenty of room for family & dog. Tows our large caravan with ease & is a dream to drive.

I have worked alot on the Zafira's, mainly servicing and fault code reading... the GSi is fun to drive, esp when the turbo kicks in

I have a Vauxhall Vectra SRI Estate - has loads of room in the boot and a very nice car to drive, prior to that I had a 4x4 and must admit I do miss it so in a few months I'm looking to get a Mitsubishi Challenger or Toyota Surf style 4x4. I like the safe feeling of a 4x4 but out estate has been excellent too.

Vectra are a good car, i was looking at them when i knew i was having No3 child... but in the mean time a Volvo T5 estate has come up very cheap so it looks as if we are having that instead.

We were looking at the 4x4s before we changed doggy cars but couldnt find a model that had enough space in the back for us-
We have Volvo V40 for the dogs now- plenty of room for two dogs in a custom cage at the back, pleanty of room for kids and really comfy to drive- except OH hates it as he says its an old mans car and it drinks the juice
I like it but then i dont have to drive it all the time as I have my own

We looked at 4x4's and couldn't find one we liked that was within our price range(2nd hand up to about £7,500)
I then saw a Ford Galaxy on a forecourt and had a good look at it....I now own one! 1.9TD,good MPH,reasonable insurance and once the 3rd row of seats are removed a HUGE boot(big enough for a 42'' crate!!!).Not the fastest thing on earth but will cruise more than comfortably at 80.

Thats the only thing we have been told about is that the Volvos are not great on petrol and worse if Turbo (which this one is)

But we are used to our cars doing 24 to the gallon around town, i'm driving a 3.0 24v Senator at the moment which is roughly a tenner every 2 days, may be more if someone pees me off i give chase

OH works for Volvo. They are very nice to drive and not really an old mans car anymore. They are a very prestigious car.
