So sorry to hear the sad news
Somtimes no matter how hard you try it happens
Its one of those things ,he might have had some underlying
thing wrong with him and that would explain why birds were after him ,they will notice vonrable or ill creatures as a easy meal

Sorry I missed this yesterday.....

So very sd about Spike, it can be so heart breaking, but you did everything you could, there was obviously something going on that was just too much for the little guy.

You made his last days warm and safe, you made a difference.(((hugs)))

Is he really dead, or just hibernating? People have thought hedgehogs were dead before and they weren't... please get it checked...
