She is definantly not dominating. And for what it is worth (from a rottie-owner) you will miss this when she grows more independant. Had the same "problem" with my last rottie. She followed me everywhere the first year - even into the bathroom. Now she is a grown up (5 year old) girl & I sort of miss this. She still curles up with her head close to mine when I lay down on the sofa reading, but she doesn't follow me around as she used to
