Have they killed anything? If not then that paper needs a good kick up the back side.

As Candie says they look like Staffys, and so its thanks to papers like that why so many people have misconceptions about them

I read this the other day - thought it was appalling. Don't watch it if you have a weak stomach. The section on abuse is truly shocking. Once again people versus dog - the dog is the loser.

I should have added - this is a pro pitbull organisation and there are some lovely pics of pits as family pets too.

Whether or not he was aware that what he was doing was illegal I don't know. He says not, but if he did know he should feel responsible for the death of each of these dogs.

However - could they not have charged him to send them to the USA where they could be rehomed??? That way it wouldn't cost them anything, he'd get a fine (and a ban too if they felt the need) and the dogs would still be alive.

And yes, I too thought that red bitch looked pregnant and that they all looked very staffy-like!

Why didn't they neuter the dogs and order him to muzzle them in public? AND give him a hefty fine.

"KILLER DOGS" - they certainly do not look like dogs which have been used for fighting - they are not covered in scars etc. Who or what have they killed?

If the laws regarding PBT's were upheld there would not be any pitbulls left by now as they were all to be neutered, tattooed, chipped, muzzled, insured and kept leashed in public. They are probably Staffs or Staff crosses.

This is definately a case of punishing the breed not the deed. Each of these dogs looks like it probably could have been rehomed as not one of them looks aggressive.

Because they were owned illegally Azz and just proves this law is a farce.

The sad truth is that people go about claiming that their bullbreed crosses are Pit Bulls, not the fault of the dogs but if people feel threatened by the man and the dogs the authorities will take his word for it and take the dogs as being of the APB type.
