Might know tomorrow.... depends. If the stone or tumour has enlarged the kidney, I might know more. If not, the x-ray goes off to the vet college in Dublin as they are more experienced in looking for things.
Looking back I suspect Polly has been harbouring this for a while, one of her symptoms is weeing gallons at inappropriate times, she did it Saturday in the van and a couple of weeks earlier in the house most unlike her. The fact that it is almost pure water - no smell or colour - indicates that the kidneys are not working. Therefore, we may be further down the line than I thought.
I'm off to bed now to try and get some sleep

I am sorry to hear about Polly. Such a worrying time waiting for test results I do hope that the tests reveal nothing sinister.
