I tried all the remedies of Barley Water, some sachets from the chemist. In the end after months and months, cause I hate going to the docs, I went to the doctors for some antibiotic and it cured it in no time.

Oh I hope not - I had a cyst on my ovary 15 years ago which was as big as a grapefruit (didn't even realise they got that big ) and had my ovary and tube out on my left hand side.

I have been to doctors and they have put me on a three day course of Trimethoprim and they have sent a sample to the hospital cos there was a lot of blood in it I have got a terrible pain in my back at the moment which means its affected my kidney so I hope it goes cos I feel like someone has punched me in the back

Thanks Shadowboxer

Yes the nurse recommended me drinking cranberry and Lemon and Barley water (I have already gone through a bottle in a couple of days - just got more supplies in though )

I asked what was the best for Rhiannas sickness because the little monkey won't drink water and she recommended Coca Cola She said it has all the salts in it that they need - so Rhianna is more than happy with that cos I don't usually let her have cola at all.

Thanks everyone - I am sure I will be better soon once the antibiotics kick in and Rhianna hasn't been sick for about 3 hours now so its looking good Apparently there is a bug going round her school and some of the teachers are off with it too.

Thanks Jackie It's a good excuse to sit here and rest and be on Dogweb though isn't it instead of doing my lovely pile of ironing

Hi Foxy, I'd heard about the cola thing, but had also heard that it had to be flat, not fizzy (probably the bubbles not doing the tummy any good!) Think lemonade is the same! Hope you both feel better soon!
