Lauryn's very brave, Mandy. Wouldn't want to have one done now, and not sure I would have done years ago either!!!
All quiet here, not a wonderful day weatherwise, at least I got everyone out. Had a revealing chat with one of my neighbours about numbnuts. I have noticed when passing the house on the way to the towpath that the two little furry handbag type dogs race up and down the window ledge barking, it is pretty loud, I am on the other side of the road and am partially deaf, I thought it was because I was passing with dogs. However once I had updated her on the latest happenings, she said how he's got the brass neck I don't know. I passed that house the other day and those dogs were running up and down the window ledge barking loudly and she (his mum) was screaming at them to shut up, of course they took no notice.
So something to think about there eh!!! Sure I can make use of it if I give it some thought.

Good evening everyone

Have been absent a few days because of trying to catch up on stuff I should have done during the week I was laid up with the back problem.

Has been very cold here but hardly any snow, some work around the garden didn't get done because of the cold, prefer to work indoors in this weather

OH went down with nasty flu like symptons so much for the 'flu jab' that she had just before Xmas. Once again we are almost certain she caught it from being in contact with 'umans

Lara was barking at 2am the other night, I went to check what it was and could only hear a fox barking in the fields behind us. Hope it's a one off, I get enough wake up calls in the night and don't want anymore

Best wishes to everyone, will try to look in more often.
