He is so unbelievably cute. Did I you have the pick of the litter? What made you choose a Borzoi of all the sighthounds. I think I have my heart set on a Galgo now after meeting one recently.

Galgos are stunning, arent they! Most sighthounds are I think

Sighthounds are my favourite breed group and I've always loved borzois
Love the gentleness and calmness, as well as the size and coat... and that nose!
Not pick of the litter, but I did get first pick of the (two) boys. His brother was white and silver rather than white and gold

I don't think I've ever actually met a Borzoi in the flesh. Is there coat very soft...I've always presumed it to be. What about moulting?

Silky soft
I don't know if you've seen many piccies of adults, but the fur on their backs goes the opposite direction to most other dogs, like someones been backcombing them all!
Sam's is yet to grow in, he still has his puppy coat as he's only 8 weeks old
You can see it quite well in this wiki picture:

They blow their coat a couple of times a year, but apart from that they aren't mega shedders. As in, you can stroke them without getting a handful of fluff like you would with a husky or something haha!

Yes I've seen lots of pictures but I never knew their coat actually went the other way. I just thought it stood up a bit because it was curly. You learn something new everyday!

Right now, his running is not entirely dissimilar to this.......

So graceful. So majestic.
