Oh, I'm so sorry. My dog went to the vet after his nose started to swell really badly one month and I already knew it was cancer. I had him put down that same day. He could no longer sleep... he was slowly suffocating.

I'm so sorry you're going through this - most of us know what it feels like. Hang in there, and know that you are in our thoughts.

Went for a lovely but short walk this afternoon with her, she is still very happy and met lots of dogs and said hello to loads of people. Quite enjoyed her little jaunt. Think the key will be to listen to what she wants now and just do little walks while she is comfortable to do them.

She is still eating sadly has to all be pureed but her liquid chicken and rice went down very nicely and she is now snoozing loudly behind the sofa.

Weather really cheered her up I think a bit of sun was what she needed after all the mud of the winter.

Aww Julie, horrible prognosis to get, but I am glad that Mollie is still enjoying her walks and her food. You love and cherish her and she knows this......as you say, just do as she pleases whilst she can and make the most of her. Hugs to you both.

Julie that is sad news about Mollie, it's good that she is still able to enjoy little walks.
I hope you have a summer to remember in her company.
