When people would say to me about my last dog (Cavvy) that they weren't the most intelligent of breeds I would respond saying 'well my one is clever enough to have got her own way with me for ten years!'

Wouldn't have 'em any other way to be honest! I require very little from them in the way of 'obedience' just enough so we rub along together happily and she is safe. I get far more 'from her' than I consider I give to her.
