WHAT??? THAT DOG??? NEVER!!!

no, joking aside
she is really a very lovable dog to me, healthy and feisty, funny and cozy
sometimes exhausting but modest as well

so like the others I already could call mine
but everyone on its own way and so it should be

and so I think every pet owner should feel the same way
they are all unique and right that makes all of them so special

You could never get the same dog anyway, dogs are formed by their experiences in life no two dogs are the same or ever could be. It would be creepy to have the same dog with a different personality for me and always comparing with the departed dog ? no not fair on the dog at all.

ooops sorry I should have read your request properly and just jumpd in with a reply, sorry
Hi We in this country, have found that Dolly the Sheep clone had a lot of issues and finally had to be put down, though the general public was never told why.So with that experience, I would never meddle with nature.crystalgirl

No, I wouldn't clone him. The clone might look like him and be genetically the same as him, but it could never be him.

Never !

The things that make my dog what he/she is are unique to them and could never be reproduced

The clone may look exactly like my dog but its personality would be its own , making it just a lookalike , which tbh I would find more distressing than a comfort and also very disrespectful to the memory of my dog that had passed

If I wanted a dog that looked similar with a similar personality then I would revisit the breeder where I got my dog and get from them a puppy from the same lines of my original dog
